A bounced email is an email message that gets rejected by a mail server. When an email bounces, there’s some reason it has not reached its intended destination.
This report will show you the emails you’ve sent that are listed as “bounced”. You can search for a specific email or filter by date.
Email complaints (also referred to as abuse complaints) are a direct signal that recipients give to mailbox providers that the email they’ve received is unwanted.
This report shows the emails you’ve sent that are listed with “complaints.” You can search for a specific email or filter by date.
This report shows you which emails have temporarily failed to deliver to the recipient. You can search for a specific email or filter by date.
Temporary fails are detected when an email is temporarily unavailable. The reasons for this may include:
- Inbox: when the recipient's inbox is full, the email returns with an error message.
- Server down: when the destination server is down, the email is not delivered.
- Too many emails: when there are too many emails for the same domain with the same IP, email, or sender.
- Antispam protection: when the message is blocked as spam by some antivirus.
This report is a list of error messages that are excluded from the list of complaints, unsubscribes, and temporary failures.
By examining this list, you can determine which emails you should remove from the list.
